Designer for a day
A design consultation for those times when you know your project needs a professional eye, but you don’t need — or want — to commit to a full interior design service.
I’ll spend four dedicated hours with you in your own home or project, working through the decisions you’re struggling to make. That might be getting the furniture layout right, finally choosing your colour palette, working out lighting, flooring or window treatments, deciding what’s worth investing in — or simply pulling together lots of ideas into one clear and cohesive direction.
It’s particularly useful if you’ve reached that point in a project where you’re feeling stuck or second-guessing your decisions and just need an experienced designer to come in, look at everything with fresh eyes and help you move forward. I’ll give you practical solutions and honest advice there and then, tailored to your home, your style and your budget. Afterwards, you’ll receive fully transcribed notes and a clear action plan covering everything we’ve discussed, so you can get on with actually completing your project.
From £475 for a four-hour consultation within 50 miles of Hereford/Hay-on-Wye. I’m also happy to travel further afield, with additional travel costs, or offer virtual appointments throughout the UK.
Bespoke Interior Design
I work collaboratively with you to create thoughtful, characterful interiors that feel like your space rather than mine — understanding how you live, what you love and what you need the space to do before bringing everything together into a clear and cohesive design.
Whether it’s a room in your home, a holiday property, retail or commercial space, I’ll help you work through the layout, colour, lighting, furniture, materials and finishes so that every element works together. You’ll receive digital mood boards and a detailed Design Plan, possibly with floorplans if appropriate alongside an approximate budget, giving you a practical roadmap to follow and the confidence to make decisions, spend wisely in the right areas and bring your finished space together beautifully.
Working throughout Herefordshire, Powys, Wales, London and beyond.
From £500 per room.
Project Management
For projects that need more than a design plan, I can take your project from concept right through to completion — whether that’s a whole-house renovation, a commercial project, or simply a new kitchen or bathroom with multiple trades, suppliers and decisions to coordinate.
Working with my trusted network of trades, craftspeople and suppliers, I oversee the many moving parts of your project: obtaining quotes, coordinating contractors, sourcing and ordering, managing budgets and timelines, solving the inevitable problems and making sure the original design doesn’t get lost along the way.
It’s a collaborative and very hands-on service, giving you one experienced person keeping an top level eye on the whole project — making decisions when they need to be made, keeping everything moving and helping you avoid costly mistakes, prevent a fragmented design, circumnavigate avoidable delays and reduce unnecessary stress for you.
Sourcing and Procurement
A beautifully finished space is often less about how much you spend and more about knowing what to buy, where to find it and where it’s worth investing.
I offer a curated sourcing service for everything from individual statement pieces and those difficult-to-find finishing touches to complete furniture packages, lighting, curtains, artwork and bespoke cabinetry. I source across new, vintage, local, independent and trade suppliers to find pieces that work together — balancing character, quality, practicality and budget rather than simply filling a space.
This can be part of a complete turnkey project or a standalone service if you simply need help finding the right pieces for your home. For holiday lets and long-term rental properties, I also create considered furniture and furnishing packages that look distinctive and desirable while being practical, durable and commercially sensible — helping you spend in the places that matter and save where they don’t.
